Floorball
Experience the Fast-Paced Action of Floorball at the Tampa YMCA! The Tampa YMCA, in partnership with the Tampa Bay Lightning, is bringing the thrilling sport of Floorball to our community! This fast paced game combines Hockey and indoor soccer, using lightweight sticks and perforated balls for nonstop action.

Plant City YMCA, North Brandon YMCA, Spurlino YMCA: Ages 6-12 years old
Northwest YMCA: Ages 6-9 years old
What
This six week program meets once a week, focusing on skill development and gameplay. Participants will receive a Floorball stick, ball and jersey with the Tampa Bay Lightning logo.

Focus/Mission
Youth sports at the Tampa Y encourages and promotes healthy kids, families and communities by focusing on healthy competition rather than rivalry, the value of participation over winning, team-building as well as individual development. Kids who participate in the Tampa Y sports programs develop a positive self-image, a sense of fair play and mutual respect for others.
Volunteer Coaching Opportunities
Parents are encouraged to be more than mere spectators, by contributing their time as volunteer coaches – as well as being their kid’s greatest fan.
