After School at the YMCA
Available for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. All Tampa YMCA after school programs provide a range of activities! Each day, kids in the after school program engage in academic enrichment and homework time, structured activities with physical activity outside, hands-on engaging indoor activities, plus healthy snacks and arts & crafts.
We offer a drop-off option for after school programs in addition to transportation from schools to select Tampa Y after school locations. ELearning students are welcome to spend the afternoon with us, just like they would if attending brick and mortar school!

How to Register for YMCA After School
- Select your neighborhood YMCA
- Click "Sign Up 2024-2025" to begin online registration
- You will receive an email confirming registration once complete
- Please note: registration is not complete until you receive an email confirmation
2024 - 2025 School Year Program Cost
Member: $80/week (+$35 registration fee)
Member drop-off option: $72/week (+$35 registration fee) (parent provides transportation to the center)
Non-Member: $105/week (+$50 registration fee)
Non-Member drop-off option: $97/week (+$50 registration fee) (parent provides transportation to the center)

How to Add Child to Wait List:
1. Online registration can ONLY be completed on a desktop computer
2. Click Enroll Now at the top of the page
3. Select child from dropdown and click Continue
4. Click the “Select All” button for the session(s) you need
5. Click the “Add to My Cart” button at the bottom of the page
6. This will change the calendar text from “Full” to “Waitlist” – click “Add to my Cart” again
7. Answer all required questions for your child
8. Review your cart and agree to all waivers
9. Click Finish to complete
10. You will be notified when a space becomes available in this program by a member of our Before & After School Enrichment team
