When school is out, the YMCA is here to help families keep the fun going. Kids’ Day Out Camp offers a safe, engaging, and active environment for children ages 5 to 12 on select non-school days, following both the Hillsborough and East Pasco County school calendars.
Each camp day features a unique, kid-friendly theme designed to spark creativity and adventure. Children will take part in a variety of organized games, crafts, swimming, and hands-on activities, all led by trained YMCA staff who prioritize safety, positive relationships, and meaningful experiences.
Whether families need a full-day care option or simply want their child to stay active and connected while school is out, Kids’ Day Out Camp is a fun, trusted solution that kids look forward to and parents can rely on.

Horseback Riding Camp
Saddle up for a one-of-a-kind adventure! At Horseback Riding Camp, children will learn basic riding skills, horse care and safety while building confidence and making new friends. Campers will enjoy time in the saddle, hands-on barn activities, and outdoor games, followed by lunch, swim time and an afternoon of classic camp fun. It’s a perfect way for young animal lovers to connect with nature and experience the joy of horseback riding in a safe, supportive setting.
Gymnastics Camp
Jump, tumble and flip into fun at Gymnastics Camp! Led by experienced instructors, this camp focuses on developing strength, coordination and balance through fun, skill-based gymnastics activities. Campers will practice basic tumbling, beam, bar and floor exercises in a positive, encouraging environment. After a morning of gymnastics, children will enjoy lunch, swim time and join the rest of camp for afternoon games and activities. It’s a great way for kids to stay active, build confidence and make new friends.

Winter Wonderland Week: Children will explore the sights, traditions and seasonal themes of winter through engaging experiences that foster creativity, collaboration and curiosity. Gasparilla: Inspired by Tampa’s pirate tradition, children will engage in experiences that promote teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. Throughout the day, they will strengthen communication skills and work together to overcome challenges and accomplish shared goals. - 1/18/27
Dream Big: Children will be encouraged to think about their strengths, interests, and future aspirations. Through activities that promote self-confidence, creativity, and growth mindset, they will learn the importance of setting goals and believing in their potential. - 2/12/27
