We need you to help us be there for those who need us most. 

The community needs the YMCA and the Tampa Y believes lasting personal and social change is best accomplished when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighborhoods. We are dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving our community’s health and well-being, and giving back by providing support to our neighbors. For some people, participating in the Y may not feel attainable because of cost. However, the Y is committed to ensuring these programs and services are available to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. From athletics, to education and health services, to safe spaces, the Y fills gaps where society falls short. Our Association-led Annual Campaign focuses on supporting all people in need throughout Tampa Bay. 

There are so many reasons to support the Tampa Y. From life-saving swim lessons to providing affordable, nutritious food for those in need, there's a Y for all.

When you donate to the Tampa YMCA’s Annual Campaign, you are directly impacting members of our Tampa Bay community, ensuring the Y and our life-changing programs are accessible to the tens of thousands of kids, families, and adults facing financial hardships. 
 
Last year, our staff, volunteers, donors, members and community partners provided much-needed funding that helped our Y: 

  • Improve Health:  Over $7.2 million reinvested into our community through financial assistance and subsidized programs to ensure participation in Y programs for nearly 63,000 people facing financial hardship 
  • Prevent Drowning:  Building confidence in 13,960 youth through life-saving water safety and swim skills 
  • Strengthen Families:  Providing fresh produce and nutritional education to nearly 30,000 kids, families and seniors living in food deserts 
  • Nurture Potential:  Fostering self-esteem and success in 26,349 youth through educational and sports programs
