YMCA Weather Updates: Tropical Storm Idalia

Dear members,
We hope you and your families are well and weathered the storm safely.
It is with great relief and gratitude we share that our YMCAs maintained limited damage, and because of the hard work and dedication of our staff teams, we are able to open ahead of our original plan. All of our YMCAs will open at 5am tomorrow, Thursday, 8/31.
All pools will open at 6am with the exception of the Northwest Y. Their pool will open at 8am.

Dear members,
Out of concern for the safety of our members and staff and in preparation for the upcoming storm, we are making the following adjustments to our center schedules:
- Tomorrow, Tuesday 8/29:
- All pools will close at 12pm.
- All programs, including group exercise, will cease operations at 12pm.
- All Tampa YMCA centers will close at 5pm.
- Wednesday 8/30: all Tampa Y locations will be closed.
- Thursday 8/31: as of Monday 8/28 at 5pm, our plan is to reopen all Tampa Y locations at 8am.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 8/29 and Wednesday 8/30, all in-school and family center Before & After School programs are canceled, following Hillsborough County Schools closure schedule.
All Tampa YMCA locations are currently operating normal business hours. Should this change, we will notify you via email, this webpage and social media. NEW: sign up for text alerts about weather-related facility operations.
