Matching Gifts Program
Many employers match their employees' monetary donations to non-profit organizations like the Tampa YMCA. Donors can inquire with their employer's human resources department learn about their company's matching donations. If the employer does not currently participate with the Tampa Y, it could make for a great beginning to a meaningful partnership.
Organizations typically double, triple or even quadruple their employees' donations! These generous gifts have a tremendously positive impact on children, families and seniors in our community.
Donations support membership, and programs like Before & After School, LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA, youth sports and summer camp scholarships.

In-Kind Donations
There are many ways to support the Tampa YMCA! Another option for giving includes in-kind donations, which are goods and services (non-monetary items of tangible personal property) the Y can use to support our programs and members on a daily basis.
The wishlist below compiles ongoing, specific goods that may be contributed from existing treasures or purchased for the Tampa Y:
- Batteries (all types)
- Paper products (facial tissue, toilet paper, etc.)
- Office supplies (notebooks, papers, pens, etc.)
- Sanitizing wipes
- Arts and crafts supplies
- Little Tikes indoor playground equipment
- Puzzles (for ages 3 to 12)
- Board games (ages 3 to 12)
- Lego block sets
- Children's books (ages 3 to teen)
- Balls (all types – baseballs, basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, etc.)
- Power tools (a host of projects are completed by volunteers and building equipment is always needed)
- Gift cards (all types)
The Tampa YMCA is in need of many products and services. If you have something to give, please contact Candace.Culver@tampaymca.org or call 813.224.9622. If, for some reason, we cannot use your gift, we will help you find other organizations which may be able to put it to good use.
